The assignment is targeted to obtain Technical Assistance Support from Asian Development Bank, for the development of Hydropower Potential of Gilgit-Baltistan. The document highlighted
- The current structure of legal and organizational framework.
- Existing potential of hydropower generation.
- Proposed amendments in existing legal and constitutional framework.
- Required organizational restructuring and capacity building measures.
- Project costing and budgeting of proposed activities.
- Identification and selection of proposed pilot projects.
The document is complete and submitted to client i.e. Electricity Department of Gilgit-Baltistan, for further submission to Asian Development Bank.
